I have always found it amazing to see how two single cells come together to create a baby. It’s amazing to think about how all the information they carry inside gives rise to something so beautiful and complex. Since I discovered embryology I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to it.

I really enjoy being able to accompany our patients in the day-to-day development of their embryos. The most special moment is undoubtedly when the long-awaited day of the transfer arrives. It is really exciting to be able to help them achieve their dream of starting a family.

For me, it is crucial to listen to and understand our patients when we inform them about the progress of their embryos. Every situation is unique, and calls are often nerve-wracking moments. Therefore, it is essential to explain to them in a simple and clear way how everything is going and to understand the individual circumstances.

I very much remember the day of the positive beta of a patient who had been unsuccessful for several attempts. I followed her case very closely and talked to her every cycle. When I found out about her positive beta after the last transfer I celebrated as if it was my own.

I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking on sunny days, taking pictures and any activity that allows me to be creative, such as painting, sewing, pottery….
