Learn more about me
My vocation in medicine began during my adolescence. I come from a family of doctors and they passed the passion for this profession on to me. I have always been fascinated by understanding the workings of the human body. During my residency in gynaecology and obstetrics, I discovered the world of infertility. It is a problem that affects many couples, and I was moved by the idea of being able to help them fulfill their desire to have children. As well as that, I was attracted by the scientific and technical complexity of reproductive medicine, as it is a field in constant evolution.
The most remarkable feature of the Tambre Clinic is the personalised treatment of each patient. The clinic is composed of a team of great professionals who work to offer the best treatment to our patients. In addition, the clinic is committed to being at the forefront of technology, which allows us to offer the most advanced treatments in assisted reproduction.
I certainly remember the first time I shared the news of a pregnancy with a patient. It was a moment full of emotions. It is a very special moment in our profession and our greatest joy as a team.
The treatment process can be stressful and emotionally draining, especially if the results are not as expected at first. It often has an impact on the couple’s relationship as the stress and pressure can cause conflict. Therefore, I believe it is essential as part of the process not to forget about the emotional aspects of our patients.
I remember almost all of my patients; each case is always unique and presents a different challenge from a medical, psychological or emotional point of view.
Knowing that you have been part of the process is always extremely gratifying and fills you with a sense of satisfaction and personal fulfillment.
Actively listening and demonstrating empathy is critical to establishing a connection with patients. At the same time, it is crucial to provide clear information about available treatments as well as possible outcomes. I believe that emotional baggage is part of our profession and we should not block it, but learn to manage it in a healthy way.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the mountains or going for a walk in the city center. I also tend to prioritise spending time with my family and friends.
