They say that you have to be at the right time and in the right place, and I think something like that happened to me. I was doing my internship as a clinical and biomedical laboratory technician in the assisted reproduction laboratory of HM Hospitals in Montepríncipe. Eventually the day comes when, once the internship is over, you have to take your new experiences and resources and set out on your own. My internship tutor had spent a year working as an embryologist at the Tambre Clinic, so he was able to give a reference about me to Susana Cortés, the director of Laboratories. From there, everything went smoothly and I soon joined this magnificent team.
They must be able to work self-sufficiently. The willingness to learn about the processing of biological samples and interpretation of results. A detailed knowledge of all processes and laboratory tests. And know how to work under pressure. I also believe that you have to be a meticulous person who pays attention to detail. Versatile and team player.
In the Andrology laboratory where I work, one of the most rewarding actions is when pregnancies are reported from the artificial inseminations that we process and prepare in our laboratory. I would also highlight the act of the inseminations.
I am very fond of outdoor sports and motor sports. I enjoy climbing, hiking, water sports, going to the beach, motorcycling, cycling and skating.
