Tambre wins the ‘Training and Employment’ Award from the Madrid Chamber of Commerce

Clínica Tambre has been awarded the Training and Employment Prize in the 8th annual Madrid SME of the Year Awards for 2024. This award, granted by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander, recognizes the commitment and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, who play such an important role in job creation and local development.

The award reflects the Tambre Group’s strong commitment to the continuous professional training and development for its team of highly qualified personnel. The training work of the Tambre Foundation

A significant part of this award is also due to the key role played by the Tambre Foundation. Through the foundation, extensive training is provided to doctors and biologists specializing in human reproduction, promoting a deeper understanding of fertility techniques. The Tambre-LAB training center is a fundamental resource for both our clinic and other assisted reproduction centers seeking to enhance their knowledge of laboratory procedures.

Additionally, the Tambre Foundation is a pillar of scientific research. Through studies and collaborations with various companies and organizations, it demonstrates a strong commitment to innovation and the development of new projects in the field of assisted reproduction.

National and international expansion

Spain has established itself as a world leader in reproductive medicine, thanks to its solid ethical and legal framework, which ensures the safety and effectiveness of treatments. This award reaffirms the Tambre Group’s commitment to providing a quality care, a commitment which has seen it rise to a leader in assisted reproduction both in Spain and internationally.

We are competing for the National Award

The award ceremony took place at the emblematic Palacio de Santoña. The president of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Ángel Asensio, along with the Secretary General of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Adolfo Díaz-Ambrona, were responsible for presenting the “Training and Employment” Award to Inge Kormelink, President of the Foundation and CEO of Tambre.

The event was attended by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, President of the Community of Madrid, José Luis Martínez Almeida, Mayor of Madrid, Luis Isasi, President of the Banco Santander in Spain, and Isabel Puig, President of the SME Commission of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.

The recognition within the “Training and Employment” category also means that Tambre is eligible for the National Award, which will be decided in the first quarter of 2025. This  serves as additional motivation to continue advancing with the same commitment to excellence and innovation.

On receiving the award, Inge Kormelink, CEO and President of the Tambre Foundation said,

She added, “The human factor is the most important value of our company, and that is why we promote professional development through continuous training”.

The event celebrated the work of a select number of businesses including the Master Battery who won the 2024 SME of the Year Award,  Sleep’n who won the Sustainability category, Brooklin Fitboxing in the Internationalization, and Sistemas Kern in Digitalization and Innovation.
