World Fertility Day 2021

Día Mundial de la Fertilidad Tambre

World Fertility Day is celebrated on November 2nd. For us it is a special moment in the calendar, as it makes us aware of the importance of talking transparently and openly about what we have been doing at Tambre for more than 40 years.

It’s World Fertility Day!

If we look back 25 years ago, the average age of motherhood in Spain, according to the National Institute of Statistics, was 29 years of age. Nowadays, this has changed a lot, as this figure has risen to 32. As 35 is the age at which fertility begins to decline, we have to accept as a society that assisted reproduction treatments are going to be more and more common in the future and for this reason, any information we can give on the subject is more than valuable.

On the occasion of World Fertility Day, we want to share with everyone who reads this  the answers to those questions that often worry those who are trying to have a baby naturally but unfortunately are not succeeding in their goal. Is this your case? Read on!

When should I consider seeing a fertility specialist?

As we have mentioned in the previous section, age is a factor to be borne in mind when it comes to fertility. Seventy percent of women in their early thirties are not yet mothers. If these women, when they are 36 or 37 years old, have been trying with their partner to have a baby naturally and after a year have not succeeded, experts in assisted reproduction recommend seeking medical help. If, on the other hand, the woman has already turned 38, this time is reduced to 6 months, and you know what? There is nothing wrong with being supported by professionals whose goal is the same as yours: to fulfil your dream of expanding your family.

How to choose a clinic you can trust?

People who take the step to start a fertility treatment agree that finding a clinic to carry out a fertility process is not an easy task. Spain is one of the countries with the best reputation when it comes to assisted reproduction treatments. This is because our legislation is one of the most flexible, careful and ethical in the world. In addition, the results and success rates guarantee the qualification and excellence of its professionals and techniques.

According to most of our patients, placing all your hopes in a particular clinic will depend on several factors. The place and its team must inspire confidence, make you feel good. At Tambre, that’s what we try to do. Our aim is that from the first day a potential patient walks through our door, they feel at home, have their doubts answered and see us as a figure of accompaniment and support.

What can I expect from the process?

It is a common misconception that all fertility treatments are very expensive, time-consuming and difficult to carry out. The truth is that every woman and couple are  unique. Not everyone needs the same treatment and does not need to undergo the same tests. At Tambre we have been pioneers in assisted reproduction for over 40 years and we are eager to help you achieve your goals. Our Artificial Insemination and In Vitro Fertilisation treatments are always offered in a personalised way and always thanks to a team of specialised professionals who will be there by your side, every step of the way.

We have a gift for you to celebrate World Fertility Day!

As this event is so important to us, we wanted to take advantage of the occasion to give you a very special gift. At Tambre, we see assisted reproduction as a multidisciplinary field that can be combined with many other fields to improve patient comfort. We would therefore like to draw a prize draw among those who fill in the form below for a wellness pack that can be exchanged in the country from which you participate.

If you have been waiting for a sign that would encourage you to take the step of getting to know us, this could be it. This World Fertility Day may also be the day you decided to start fulfilling your dream.

We look forward to starting this experience together!
