I have always loved nature and everything related to health sciences. When it came time to choose a degree, I finally decided on biotechnology because I was fascinated by the laboratory work in the healthcare field and the relationship that this career had with R&D.
In my opinion, empathy is fundamental, since we are dealing with cases that have a high emotional impact on people.
What I like the most, besides the day to day in the lab, is when patients contact us to tell us that the child they wanted so much has been born. I love it.
On a general level, I would recommend a healthy lifestyle. Moderate sports, following a balanced diet, avoiding alcohol and tobacco and trying to reduce stress levels.
In my free time I enjoy being with my family and friends. My hobbies are simple, for example, having a nice cup of coffee on a sunny terrace.
